Ebichus are Chugakusei forever
Tokyo will host the Olympics in 2020, and this has prompted many Japanese to start seriously studying English. One such person is Riko Nakayama from the popular idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku (Ebichu).
At the same time, if one concentrates too much on learning proper grammar then it can be a real bore. At “Otaqueeen English” we try to use Otaku terminology to learn English.
The very first phrase is, “Ebichus are Chugakusei forever.” All of the Ebichu members have graduated from middle school, but their concept of “always remaining a middle school student at heart” allows their fans to dream. The goal of these young girls is to have as many people as possible throughout the world know their slogan.
