Where is the Buppan?
"Buppan" is an abbreviation for the Japanese word, "merchandise store". It signifies the place where idol goods such as CDs, DVDs, T-shirts are sold at event venues.
Certain Otaku feel that the more merchandise a person buys at a venue, the more devoted they are. That's because the sales translate directly into the idols' income. The act of buying merch is tied in with the notion of giving one's support to the artists.
